These help control green water and unsightly algae growth by adsorbing and trapping phosphate, nitrite and nitrate. It effectively produces crystal clear water, reduces odours, and creates ideal conditions for fish and plants. The polymax / clearmax filter cartridge helps reduce overall aquarium maintenance.
